Why is Metal Guard 100% safe?

We avoid aggressive chemicals that can artificially extend the life of additives but pose a threat to the engine in the long term. In addition, Metal Guard is significantly less expensive than competing products with similar effectiveness. 

How does Metal Guard work?

• creates an ultra-thin and extremely durable oil film with a thickness of 0.1μm
• does not change the kinematic viscosity of the base oil
• effective at temperatures up to 232 degrees Celsius (449 degrees Fahrenheit)
• fills micron-sized imperfections, creating a smooth surface with minimal friction coefficient
• this layer also prevents carbon deposits from forming on metal components

The durability of the oil film is the result of the use of long-chain synthetic hydrocarbons, which, thanks to the polarisation process, remain (do not run off) on metal surfaces. As a result of friction, the film gradually wears off (much slower than a standard oil film), but this layer is constantly replenished as the oil + Metal Guard circulates in the system. This means that protection is effective from the very first seconds after starting the engine, whereas standard oil can take up to 30 minutes to reach its optimum operating temperature.
